Coronado MainStreet hosts an annual car show, MotorCars on MainStreet, featuring over 400 pre-73 restored classic, rod and custom cars & trucks. Navy MWR Annual Bay Bridge Run/Walk

This unique 4-mile run/walk has a one-of-a- kind, with a spectacular panoramic view as participants make their way to Coronado’s beautiful Tidelands Park from downtown San Diego over the Coronado Bay Bridge. During the finish line celebration, runners receive a commemorative event shirt and complimentary transportation back to downtown.

Navy Special Warfare Superfrog Triathlon

The SUPERFROG triathlon was designed by Navy SEALs in 1979 to help SEALs prepare for what was then the newly created IRONMAN triathlon in Hawai’i and to provide the Navy Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) and SEAL Teams a physical training event that was both multi-faceted and competitive.
